Android Based Temperature Monitoring System

Server is a very vital device and should be given extra attention when the server is in active state. In the server stored important data in the form of databases and web application documents.

One of the things that can make the performance of the server to be disturbed is the temperature of the room is not conducive, which can make the server becomes too hot. Temperature monitoring system can be one solution to supervise the state of the server room in order to always be conducive, so as to minimize the occurrence of excess heat on the server device. The temperature monitoring system is built using Raspberry Pi and temperature sensors, with web and android companion applications. Raspberry Pi will retrieve data from the temperature sensor to then be stored in the MySQL database, then later the temperature data can be processed and accessed through web applications and android that has been prepared.

With the monitoring system, it is expected to facilitate the user in monitoring the server room, especially at the server room temperature.
